• Mad Torque Rock Crawler Modified To Climb Stairs

    Starlino wanted to create a robot capable of traversing over a multitude of terrains and environments, utilizing an RC “Rock Crawler” as the base, with a few modifications allowed the basis of a really cool all-terrain robot project.

    When he discovered the vehicle wasn’t able to climb a standard set of stairs work began to make the robot more functional. By joining a second chassis to the original, to extend the body and re-purposing a battery holder to join the two together he created a symmetrical body which could handle the task.

    As you can see from the video the results are promising and it’d be certainly interesting to follow this project in the future.
