Traffic congestion is a common problem, and directing traffic can be dangerous, so why not build a giant metallic beast to do it for you?

The giant robot was erected to direct traffic in the same way a human would, in Kinshasa the capital city of Congo. Alongside giving stop and go signals, the robots, like their human counter parts, are able to issue tickets to people violating traffic laws, albeit it through the lenses of a camera rather than through an eye.

The two robots, stand 8 feet tall and have currently been proving more successful than the humans previously tasked with the job. Obviously having a robotic overlord who’s a lot harsher to enforcing the law to the letter is a better incentive than a human who’s likely to slip by unnoticed.
